If you are running out of space in your mailbox and need to increase, use the
GIGA Mail interface, which is part of the
customer administration (it cannot be managed through the webmail interface).
1. Increasing Mailbox Capacity
In the left menu, select Webhosting (1.) and choose the desired hosting from the list (2.)
On the website settings page, go to the E-mails (3.) tab. The mailbox size management is found under [Gigamails settings] (4.)
In the GIGA mail interface, set the desired size using the + button. If you need to decrease the mailbox size (e.g., if you do not have enough capacity for an increase and do not wish to order more yet), use the - button.
Changes will take effect only after saving.
2. Mailbox and Available Capacity Management
In the GIGA mail interface, you can see how many GB are available and the maximum mailbox size you can set.
Calculating Used Space
The basic mailbox size is 1 GB, capacity increases in 1 GB increments
- The mailbox jan@zizkovsky.cz has an additional 4 GB used (total size 5 GB)
- The mailbox zikmund@zizkovsky.cz has an additional 9 GB used (total size 10 GB)
→ 4 + 9 = 13 (13 GB used)
Therefore, 12 GB remain for increasing mailbox capacities.
The maximum mailbox size in this case is 20 GB (see the mailbox list header).
3. Purchasing Additional Mailbox Space
The GIGA mail interface allows you not only to adjust mailbox capacities but also to order additional space for your mailboxes.
Use either the interface functionality or this
direct link. If you click the button in the
GIGA mail interface, you will be taken directly to the order basket for hosting add-ons.
In the form, go to the Email Services section and select the capacity you wish to purchase.
Complete the order as usual.
