CalDAV provides full access to calendar data (read, edit, delete). Getting started consists of activating the synchronization of a specific calendar in webmail and adding the calendar account to iOS device. Because iOS has native CalDAV support, there is no need to install any add-on or application.
1. Activate synchronization in webmail
Log in to
webmail and go to the calendar.
In the left menu, select Synchronization (1.)
Click on the tab Sync with CalDAV (2.)
Use the checkbox to select the calendar (3) to synchronize. You can also check multiple calendars (3a), they'll all be added to your device at once.
2. Adding a calendar on your iPhone/iPad using a QR code
On the
Event Synchronization - CalDAV page, click
Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code and download the configuration profile.
After downloading the configuration profile, go to Settings > Downloaded profiles.
Start the installation by clicking Install in the top right corner. Depending on your device settings, you may be prompted to enter a security code. Continue the wizard by tapping Install again. You can also delete the downloaded configuration profile without starting the installation or cancel it for later installation.
Finish adding your calendar by entering your mailbox password.
3. Adding a calendar on your iPhone/iPad manually Use this if you're adding multiple calendars to your iPhone.
In Settings, go to
Calendar- iOS 18 - go the Application on the bottom
Select
Accounts >
Add Account >
Other
Select Add CalDAV account
Fill in the server
syncdav.forpsi.com,
Username, mailbox
Password and
Description
After successful verification, select the data for synchronization (calendars) and complete the wizard by clicking
Save
Note
Reminders are not synchronized, so you can uncheck them
